As many of you know, we have been active members of WALA (Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association) since the club's inception, approximately five years ago, and we maintain an 8 STAR certification with them. Being part of WALA means that we are accountable not only to you, our families, but also to a breed club that monitors our breeding practices, pedigrees, health, and warranties to ensure we are breeding the best possible ALD (Australian Labradoodle).
This has been our commitment to you and the breed. However, because we are always seeking ways to improve our program, we have decided to enhance that commitment even further. In addition to our membership with WALA, we have also joined ALAA (Australian Labradoodle Association of America).
Why join two breed clubs?
In summary, being a member of both breed clubs provides us with access to more resources, a broader reach into pedigrees, health testing, and sources of information, as well as more opportunities for learning and networking.
This, in turn, allows us to breed the best ALD for our wonderful Mountain Home Doodle families.
